Hello everyone!  I’ve got a couple of exciting things to share with you today.

Without Alice now has its own page on facebook. Just click on the badge to the left or on the link to whizz over there and see what people are saying about Without Alice already.
The facebook page is a place where I’ll be posting exclusive news about Without Alice. I’d love it if you  clicked on the ‘Like’ button Pleaseandthankyouverymuchyou’reallmy’best‘.
Please start a discussion topic as I’d love to get some going but have no idea what you’d like to talk about.

Without Alice is going to be released in two phases.  Phase one is where it will be made available exclusively through my publisher’s website from July and phase two is when it will be officially published on the 4th of October 2010 and available from all good book stores online and otherwise.

There will also be a phase one and a phase two blog tour. I’ll post details of the phase one tour dates and hosts soon.

So as you can see (if you squint), the cover for Without Alice is on the facebook page badge. I had intended to show you the front and back cover but can’t figure out how to upload a PDF file to blogger. So here is a larger version of the front cover instead.
I’m delighted that my publisher agreed to use the photo that so many of you said you liked in my twitter poll. It really is a perfect reflection of what happens inside Without Alice. Have I given too much away?  Well, you’ll just have to read it and find out!

While you’re waiting to be able to buy a copy so you can read Without Alice I have posted a new short story called Decisions for you, follow this link to read it.

  • Hi Denyse, I don't read novels that often ( what a confession ! ) but then when I do read a really good one, I think to myself "why don't I read novels more often ? ! " and I read it avidly, unable to put it down. I've a feeling that Withour Alice is going to have that impact on me, and will probably get me really back into reading again. Please keep jogging our memories about it's release date, and I'll get my shopping bag out !

  • Very pleased you got the cover you wanted – are you beginning to believe it all? Are you fizzing?

Soon as I can snatch the time, I'll check out the story. Looking forward to it!

  • Hi Becky
I've been told 'Without Alice' is a page turner by those who have read the PDF of it. You can see their comments in more detail on the facebook page.

    Hi Rachel
    I'm pleased to know that!

    Hi Helen
Yes it is πŸ™‚ I want to hold a copy in my hand though…and to be able to send a copy to Grammie Kirkby. I wish I could hand her a copy and watch her face as she reads it but that's what I get for moving to a different continent!

    Hi Megan
I'm really pleased πŸ™‚ my publisher is so lovely and really easy to work with. He makes me feel that my opinion is important even if he doesn't always agree with me. I hope you enjoy my short story!

  • This is SO exciting! I already "LIKED" your page. (I have no freakin' clue about FB but know I have to "Like" something!)

I don't want to read too much of the book as I want to enjoy the WHOLE thing when it's in my very anxious hands!

  • What a very exciting time for you, congratulations! I'm looking forward to following your journey, best wishes with your book.

  • I love the cover – that bloke is hot. Ahem. Not that that's my main reason for loving it or anything…

I can't wait to read the book! Exciting times!

  • Hi Nitebyrd
Thank you so much for liking my facebook page. Don't worry I won't post naymore from the book now. The bits from the prologue were all that I was allowed to leak. I'm sending you an email later.

    Hi Joanne
Thank you so much for visiting and leaving a comment as well as your good wishes.

    Hi Talli
@chopski says that the last time he poses for a cover to one of my novels if that's how you're going to talk about him. Apparently he's not a piece of meat! Lol…
So glad you're looking forward to my novel, I'm looking forward to reading yours too!

  • Hi Amanda
Yes it is πŸ™‚ and I can properly enjoy it now that I'm finished my Uni course.
