WeLL Family Friendly
I have had a busy week working on the finishing touches for my programme of events for the rest of this year. The school headmasters, librarians and literacy leads have been welcoming and enthusiastic about me coming in to do WeLL What’s Your Story? sessions with their students.
Andrew Olive, the head of Paulsgrove Primary, suggested that I also offer a family WeLL What’s Your Story? session at his school which I thought was an excellent idea. Although there are going to be WeLL What’s Your Story? sessions at various venues all over the city they won’t always be the best place to bring the youngest family members. So there will now also be WeLL What’s Your Story? sessions where the whole family can get involved in creating stories.
I am waiting to finalise a few more dates and will then be able to post details of the WeLL What’s Your Story? venues, dates and times for you.
For those of you who missed me on the Julian Clegg Breakfast Show last week you can hear it by clicking here and listening from 56 minutes into the show. This week I will be on Darren Gamblen’s Express FM breakfast show on Valentine’s Day talking about being a writer in residence for Portsmouth libraries, my WeLL campaign and why you should Love Your Library. You can ask me questions here and / or during the show. Looking forward to talking with you!
