Friday Funnies

Published on Friday 9th April 2010 by DJ Kirkby

Thank to everyone who entered a caption this week! I did lots of *snerking* at all of your comments (I’m so very mature), which made it hard to chose any one in particular.
The one’s that lingered with me throughout the day get my vote this week:
Everyone’s a Critic: Bugger! I posted a comment on the wrong picture. Though I wish I hadn’t looked at the other one, how embarrassing wearing that hat with those shoes!!
Al: What happens when the young and trendy get old and saggy.
Troy: You are so right about that photo not being child friendly – he’s smoking!!
JJ: The only art installation where waxing is as important as illumination.

We’ve had a bit of a bad week Chez Aspie. It’s a good thing none of our boys want a University education as we probably wouldn’t be able to afford it now because our 16 year old Werecat is ill with probable diabetes.

Even more disturbing is the fact that my husband has developed this strange habit of leaving hessian sacks lying around the house, mostly in close promimity to Werecat. I can sort Werecat’s problem out by putting her on a diet and giving her insulin but I can’t figure out what’s wrong with my husband!

Last but not least, I have a short story posted on the Authortrek site which you can read by following this link. If you enjoy reading it then I’d very much appreciate you clicking on the vote button on the bottom left of my story on the Authortrek site.  Pleaseandthankyouverymuchyoulovelypeople

  • Poor Werecat. It's horrible when a pet becomes unwell.

What will Chopper do when he runs out of hessian sacks?

Off now to read your short story.

  • Hi Debs
Thanks for your comment on my story! I've hidden all the sacks from Chopper πŸ™

    Hi Helen
The vet phoned at 8.30 last night. Werecat has diabetes. Poor old thing πŸ™

    Hi Talli
Lol, he's lovely really and very worried about Werecat too, he just hides it well!

    Hi Nitebyrd
Hessian is the same as burlap back home.

    Hi Vi
I quite like it too πŸ™‚
