Oh my goodness, D, that looks absolutely amazing! Like the photos out of a cookery book – my cooking and baking never looks like the photo that accompanies any recipe!
Mine doesn’t either Kath…that’s why I am writing my own cookbook! The apple tart was really scrummy and Chris wants me just to make individual teensy rolls of the pie crust for snacking on too. Great idea, why didn’t I think of that?

Do you not put any sugar on the apples?
Hi Auntie Carol, I knew you would be interested. I emailed mom to tell her too! I put sugar in a thin layer on the bottom of the crust under the apples to make a thin caramel but none on the apples because I used Pink Lady apples which are super sweet (they taste like big Spartans).

You don’t have an oven yet?! How on earth are you coping without one? You used to bake more frequently than I do!!!!
