Cupcakes and cookies to wash down a good read
Today, Sunday July 31st I will be doing an event at the new library on Palmerston Road, Southsea, Portsmouth from 12.10 – 12.45pm. I will be signing copies of Without Alice, chatting about fitting writing around family time and full time employment, and taking names to enter in a draw for a copy of Without Alice.
I have made some blackberry muffins, chocolate & black cherry cupcakes and maple walnut chewy cookies to bring with me in the hopes of luring readers over to my table once they are in the library. They serve a dual purpose because I can console myself by eating them if no one comes over to say hello.
On Monday (August1st) I have been asked to do a reading from my new book Special Deliveries at the WriteInvite event at Rosies Wine Bar from 8pm.
