A Google Cardboard family evening

Last night we visited the Eifle Tower, climbed hills and mountains (seriously, don’t look down while doing this), played with an artic fox (incredibly adorable), went fishing, planted flowers, visited a natural history museum and an air museum (geek love), went on a few rollercoasters (blurk), flew with a flock of seagulls, and finally chilled out watching the aura borealis before bedtime. What an amazing family evening, and all thanks to Google Cardboard VR. Modern technology is astounding.

We did feel slightly odd (bit woozy and not quite ‘here’) once we had stopped exploring the world of Google Cardboard, but I think that’s because we overdid it on our first experience. We’re going to use it in smaller amounts from now on until we get used to it.
